Fake friendship

Hi I’m Italo. I study sociology at ICESI university and I’m studying fourth semester. A professor asked us to write an essay about Karl Marx and this was an important work because represents 30 percent of totally grade. The problem began when my best friend, George, asked me to help him about the essay because he was worried his low grades in this subject, so despite that I shouldn´t, I lend my essay to George with the condition of changing some words. The day of delivery, I discovered that George sent my essay to everybody. Then, the professor told me that I was in trouble because somebody told him that I had cheated.
I am in a dilemma; If I betray George, I will lose his friendship and if I don´t betray him, I will lose the subject. What should I do? I´m confused and blue. Help me, please! 😪😫😭

Our tip

Hi Italo. If we were you, we would betray George because if he were your real friend, he
wouldn´t do that. Moreover, you shouldn´t risk your grades for a bad friend, you trusted him and he betrayed you. Sometimes you can´t risk important aspects for people that aren´t worth it. If you let the situation like that, he will do it again and you will feel disgusted, annoyed and let down.
So, get away of your mischievous friend and you shouldn´t worried, we are sure that you will find good and real friends. Do the right thing!💓
